His journey has allowed him the privilege of participating in almost every area of ministry from youth pastoring, worship leading, church planting and apostolic leadership. Peter has a wife Patricia of 23 years and 2 lovely children Chandler and Laurel. Peter loves sailing, music, photography & cinematography. Peter Balciunas planted and is currently pastoring at Awake Christian Church for almost 10 years in Melbourne Florida. Peter has a passion towards helping people to awaken to their true God-given identity as he leads the charge to set God’s people free while shining light on the truth of who our God is. As we look at the attributes of God, we realize that God is wise and He is infinite. Therefore He is infinitely wise. Therefore God's wisdom is ultimate. We see the attributes of God always as ultimate attributes.There is no other who shares these attributes fully with God. The attributes of God help us to know who God is. The attributes of God give us a filter to run our thoughts about him through and how we should respond. We see the ultimate wisdom of God everywhere we look even beyond the text of Scripture.
Have you ever watched the Antique Road Show? People come with their stuff wondering if it has any value. How do the people react when they find out this thing in their attic is worth $50,000? Antique basically means “Belonging to the past.” The influence of our past should help us navigate our present and futures. We serve a God who is neither antique, nor contemporary, or even futuristic. God is immutable. He never changes. Because we are locked in time and we are not God, we can change. As Christians, we have changed. Has worship that is acceptable by God changed?
God creates and designs all things with purpose. The Tabernacle is one creation, design, system of great purpose that is relevant today. God works within His own designs. God refuses to conform to man’s designs or religious thinking. The church; that is God’s people, should be a model of the Tabernacle both individually and corporately.
